Need Help?
We all need help when times are tough, but it's not always easy to know where to turn. Here are some simple ways to seek help if you're in need of assistance with life's essentials.

Although it is based in Peebles, the food bank serves the entirety of Peeblesshire and can connect you with other service providers to help with the cost of living. You can self-refer to the food bank by calling directly on 01721 588 654 (you do not need to be referred by another agency) or you can fill out the form at the bottom of the bi-monthly newsletter. Donations to the food bank can be made inside the Coop.

Located at the back of the Coop carpark, the Swap and Share Shed is a community initiative that allows anyone to donate unwanted goods, including food, and also to pick up any donations they might need. It's a service that runs largely on goodwill, but the volunteer staff can also point you in the direction of further assistance should you need it.
- Innerleithen Online on Facebook
There's always a lot of activity on the Innerleithen Online forum on Facebook. It's a great place to ask your fellow residents for any kind of help you need, or to offer help in return.
- Scottish Borders Council
As the local authority that administers services in and around Innerleithen, the Scottish Borders Council can also offer advice on various issues of concern. Check the SBC website for a list of available services to see what council staff can do for you.
